In accordance with the cooperative’s Code of Regulations, your Board of Trustees is entrusted with the responsibility of filling the District 1 seat. The appointment requires the affirmative vote of a majority of the remaining Board members for the unexpired portion of the term and until a successor shall have been elected and shall have qualified.

     c:)  is a Close Relative of a trustee or employee of the Cooperative or a subsidiary of the Cooperative;

          The term “Close Relative” means an individual who:

           1.)  through blood, law, or marriage, is a spouse, child, stepchild, father, stepfather, mother, stepmother, brother, stepbrother, half-brother, sister, stepsister, half-sister, grandparent, grandchild, father-in-law, mother-in-law, brother-in-law, sister-in-law, son-in-law, or daughter-in-law; or

           2.)  resides in the same residence.

     d:)  within the past ten years has been convicted of a felony offense or a misdemeanor offense involving dishonesty;

     e:)  during the three years immediately before becoming a trustee was an employee of the Cooperative or a subsidiary of the Cooperative.

Please consider being part of your cooperative’s governing body. For additional information or to provide notice of your interest to be considered for this seat, please contact cooperative CEO/President Darin Thorp at 1-800-647-6932, no later than close of business on Wednesday, May 25, 2022.
