Stopping Service

To cancel electric service, please call the office (419-636-5051 or 800-647-6932) and let us know the details.  You must give 24 business hours notice for a disconnection. 

We will also need your forwarding address. Once you have moved out of our service territory any capital credit reimbursements will be mailed to you in the form of a check. Please continue to update us in the future as reimbursements are made throughout multiple years.

Note that you will be responsible for any usage until the day the service is cancelled for your account and those charges will be processed during the next regular billing cycle. This means that you will not receive a billing statement for the final charges until the following month after stopping service.
