2025 ANNUAL MEETING OF MEMBERS

The 2025 Annual Meeting of Members will be held on Saturday, May 17 at the cooperative office located at 04125 State Route 576 in Bryan. Members who wish to cast their vote using a paper ballot may drive thru and drop it into the official ballot box anytime between 9 am to noon on that day.

Members who wish to vote electronically may do so by logging into your secure SmartHub account and clicking on the "VOTE NOW" button. You will be directed to the online ballot. The online voting option will end at noon on Friday, May 16.

Following the closing of the drive-thru meeting on May 17 at noon, all votes (paper and electronic) will be tabulated and the results will be announced here and on the NWEC Facebook page (www.facebook.com/north.western.electric).


If you plan to attend the drive-thru meeting on May 17, do NOT also vote online. You can only vote once.

Bring your completed paper ballot and registration page to the cooperative office (04125 State Rt. 576, Bryan) on May 17 anytime from 9 a.m. to noon.

Please enter through the east drive, off State Route 576. Please stay in your vehicle at all times. You will exit the property through the south drive, onto County Road D.

The person whose name appears on the bottom of the registration page (the NWEC member) must be present in the vehicle to vote. Proxy votes will not be accepted.

You can use the desktop computer version or the mobile app for phones or tablets.

Each member that participates in the annual meeting either by casting their vote in person at the drive-thru event on May 17 or voting online via SmartHub, will receive a $25 bill credit on their July electric bill.

 


  

THE 2025 BALLOT


The official ballot will contain options to select a trustee for District 7 and to accept or reject the 2024 Annual Meeting minutes as presented.
 

DISTRICT 7 TRUSTEE NOMINATIONS

One member, Larry Thomas, submitted a valid nominating petition and has been placed on the ballot. The incumbent for District 7, Richard Polter, has chosen to remain a candidate and was automatically placed on the ballot.

Reminder: All members may vote. You DO NOT need to reside in District 7 in order to vote.

On the official ballot, members are asked to vote to accept or reject the minutes from the 2024 Annual Meeting. The proposed minutes can be viewed by clicking the link below. They are also available in your April issue of the Ohio Cooperative Living magazine and the special packet that was mailed to each cooperative member.
