FREE Electric Water Heater
North Western Electric customers can receive a FREE electric water heater if they:
- build a new home
- replace an existing propane, natural gas, or oil water heater
Discounted Electric Water Heater
North Western Electric customers can receive a discounted price for an electric water heater if they:
- replace an old electric water heater that leaks and can't be repaired
- replace a small electric water heater that does not provide enough hot water
Member prices are:
50 gallon Freedom brand: $99
80 gallon Freedom brand: $149
75 gallon Marathon brand: $149
105 gallon Marathon brand: $199
A load management radio control switch is required to be installed to the water heater.
Electric Water Heater Repair Service
North Western Electric provides FREE replacement parts and a repair service of electric water heaters at a discounted price to its members:
- Parts for the repair of electric water heaters will be provided FREE of charge. Members wanting to repair the water heater themselves can obtain parts from the Cooperative office.
- A service charge of $45 will be applied to calls for repair of electric water heaters by Cooperative personnel. This service does not include the installation of a new water heater. Service will be available during normal business hours.
- Service calls for load management switch repairs, water heater installation inspections, or other non-water heater marketing programs will not be assessed a charge.
